Store Staff

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include and are not limited to:

People:

• Deliver a positive, friendly experience by engaging the customer through conversation and service

• Enhance the VIBE by focusing on customers and not on projects during prime time selling hours

• Provide a store experience that reflects the Company’s standards

• Being positive, respectful and helpful to others

Teamwork and Communication:

• Work productively within the team and take initiative to work with others toward a common, collaborative goal

• Assist in the training and development of peers

• Communicate positively and effectively with peers

• Actively participate in weekly and department meetings

Visual & Business Operations:

• Store Environment: maintains Times Records’ visual (clean and organized) and operational standards while keeping the focus on the customer. Ensure that the sales floor is well stocked; assist in display projects and private events

• Product Flow: supports the shipment process to gain awareness of product including what’s new and what’s already on the floor; contributes to completion of omni channel order fulfillment processes

• Awareness: adheres to store’s safety standards, inventory accuracy, reduction of product loss, and upholds all company policy and procedures to support the profitability of the store

• Adhere to Company regulations at all times

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Previous experience in a retail environment – not a must.

• Strong customer service, communication and collaboration skills

• Proactive at work, strong problem-solving skills, and great attention to details

• Knowledge and passion for music and pop culture. An awareness of the Times Records’ brand and its appeal to the local music industry.

Applicants must be available to work varied days and hours as work schedule requires, including extended evening hours and weekends. You will have to be able to stand and walk around during scheduled hours, climb ladders, move boxes, and communicate (orally and in writing) in Vietnamese and simple English.
